Overview

High-intensity strip magnetic separator designed to remove tramp ferrous content

High-Energy Rare-Earth magnet assembly in a fully welded and brushed stainless steel case. The extremely powerful magnets are highly efficient at removing magnetic and para-magnetic particles from both dry free flowing powder and granules when used as a primary magnetic separator.

The high energy strip magnet can be positioned across a conveyor line above the processed material where the ferrous contamination is pulled out from the product as it passes under the magnetic strip. The deep magnetic field from the magnet makes it ideal for use with product depths up to approx. 50mm (depending on type of product being conveyed). the attracted contamination is then safely held out of the product flow and cannot be wiped o by the processed material.

The strip magnet can also be used to assist with the conveying of ferrous objects on conveyor processing lines. Incorporating these strip magnets within the conveyor framework beneath the process belt increases the traction between the conveyor belt and the conveyed product. Product slippage is reduced which can result in increased process line speeds being achieved. Product inversion is also possible by incorporating the units in transfer conveyors.

Mounting holes on the non-magnetic rear face of the magnet enable easy mounting of the units to machinery frameworks.
